Tourist arrivals reached 581,880 in August 2026, down from 602,026 in August 2025. Across January–August, arrivals totalled 2,820,649, compared with 3,034,155 in the same period of 2025.
Who this matters to
The United Kingdom supplied 30.5% of August arrivals, Israel 23.3%, Poland 6.3%, Germany 4.4% and Sweden 3.0%. Holidays accounted for 84.5% of visits. CYSTAT separately recorded 239,337 return trips by Cyprus residents, up 0.3% year on year.
