CYSTAT reported that the value of wholesale turnover increased 17.8% in the second quarter of 2026 from a year earlier. Over the same period, turnover in motor-vehicle trade and repair declined 2.5%.

Vehicle sales fell 6.7%, while maintenance and repair grew 5.4%, parts sales rose 2.6% and motorcycle activity slipped 1.4%. For January–June, wholesale was up 14.6% and the broader motor-trade measure was down 3.1%.
